The best people get dealt the worst hands in life, but that's just because the universe and biology dictate that we are able to handle it.
This is me saying it's been 'one of those days', the ones where fatigue sideswipes you, your not completely unable to function, but with the amount your able to do, you feel as though you may as we be. For me this was today, I got up at a norm enough time as I was woken by a raised blind, the rest was lathargicness, which for me leads to Intense procrastinating as I don't feel I have the energy and therefore willpower to do anything else. Though, going back to sleep (the logical option), in my mind is like admitting defeat, admitting you failed at life for the day. This is not true, if you have a shit day or a bad day or a day where you just can't, due to fatigue, sleep. Alternatively, go do the small things in life that take minimal energy but give you immense joy. Drinking tea, watching a sunset, sitting in the sun, playing with/patting/sitting with your pet, a massage or facial. These will hopefully give you energy to enjoy the time you are awake.
Lesson of the day - if sleep is needed as your so tired, then sleep. You haven't failed your day, it is preparation for the next day.
